Texas voters pushed out several House incumbents, likely clearing the path to passage for Gov. Abbott's education savings accounts plan. Plus, the Texas Supreme Court rejects a high-profile challenge to the state's abortion laws, in a case filed by 20 women who said they were denied medically-necessary abortions.
